Frequently asked questions

How many sessions do I need for a coaching engagement?

I recommend that you work with a coach for a minimum of six months to one year. This will ensure you build a trusting relationship and have time to work through any limiting beliefs or inner blocks that may be holding you back. All programs start with a complimentary 60-minute strategy session where you identify hurdles, set challenging goals, and choose the program that is best for you.

What is coaching?

Coaching is a thought-provoking and creative process that will inspire you to maximize your personal and professional potential.

The coach’s job is to understand you are the expert in your field, and the coach guides you toward discovering what stands between you and your goals. Coaching will:

  • Help you clarify and pursue what you want to achieve.
  • Assist with the discovery of what is holding you back.
  • Guide you to create solutions and strategies.
  • Keep you responsible and accountable.
  • Improve your outlook on work and life.
  • Expand your leadership skills and unlock your potential.
What if I don’t like the coaching sessions?

If you don’t find coaching helpful, you can stop at any time and only pay for completed sessions.

Is there a no show fee if I can’t make any of my coaching sessions?

There’s no cancellation fee with 24 hours or more notice. Please let me know if you have something that comes up and I'll work with you to reschedule.

How long are the coaching sessions?

Typically, we schedule 45-50 minutes for coaching sessions to give you time to wrap up and prepare for your next meeting. If you need something different, let's talk about it and I'll be happy to accommodate your scheduling needs.

Is there a discount for taking more than one session?

We offer 3, 6 and 12 month coaching engagements.

Are there any materials provided for coaching sessions?

Some sessions may include online assessments or other work. I will also make recommendations for additional reading and resources.

Are my coaching sessions confidential?
Your sessions are confidential, and I respect your privacy. I abide by the ICF Code of Ethics. For more information about the code of ethics please see the International Coaching Federation. https://coachingfederation.org/ethics/code-of-ethics
Is Coaching therapy?

Psychologists focus on looking back to heal. Coaches focus on the future—setting goals, creating outcomes, and managing personal change. A Coach helps you obtain your professional goals.
